Functionally Usable Enemy Generator
New: Now you can run it in the browser while on page! Note: Clicking the EXIT button in the tool as opposed to closing out normally won't actually close anything. It just breaks the script so it stops running.
A standalone stat block generator for the incredible Fabula Ultima RPG targeted toward solo play. FU is almost entirely based on party play, but it can absolutely be run as a solo game. The biggest hangup, in my opinion, is setting up and running enemies on the fly - having to stop, flip through the book or the incredible Fultimator! tool absolutely works, but it's super immersion breaking when you're trying to keep the flow going.
There are some very, very good resources out there that serve a similar purpose. What FUEG trades away in the robust features that others have put together, it gains in simplicity and ease of use. You will have to do a little more improvisation on things like skills and flavor. I have added an attack generator, but it's still quite rudimentary.
How to use it:
1. Set your party level,
2a. Set the desired enemy Rank,
2b. Set the Champion Multiplier (if applicable),
3. Press Generate
4. If you like the stat block, assign it to Enemy 1 or Enemy 2 using the buttons below. Once it's been assigned, it will also randomly generate a pair of attacks. You can mouse over the Damage Type icons to display a key for what they mean.
5. Once you've finished with a stat block, press the [x] in the top right corner to clear it, or just overwrite it with another.
You can adapt the block however you like - if it looks good, but the (variable) HP generation looks way too high, just reduce it. Maybe you're trying to get a block together for a bruiser that rolled a d6 on Might... just reroll it! That's RPGs, baby!
Many of the to-do items I had have been completed. There is more improvement I would like to do given that people seem to like the functionality of the program.
I intend on including a basic turn-tracking functionality.
I do not intend to implement any kind of character sheet tools at the moment.
If you have any suggestions or feedback, I would absolutely love to hear it!
